How JuniorCourt Advisor collects, uses and protects your family's information.

Last updated 14 October 2026

Who we are

JuniorCourt Advisor is an Australian service that helps parents and coaches choose junior tennis gear, track a player's progress, and keep up with age-matched tournaments.

In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean JuniorCourt Advisor, and "you" means the parent, guardian, coach or other adult using the service.

Information we collect

Account details: your name, email address and password when you register, plus the role you choose (parent or coach).

Player details: your child's or student's first name, date of birth and gender, and their current racquet and string setup. We ask for a first name only — never a surname or a photo.

Progress and activity records: skill check-ins, match results, stringing jobs and training sessions you choose to log.

Coach details: your name, email, My Tennis ID, club, state and phone number when you apply for free coach access.

Payment information: handled entirely by our payment provider, Stripe. We receive confirmation that a subscription is active and its plan and status — we never see or store your full card number.

Usage information: pages you visit and features you use, so we can see what is working and fix what is not.

Children's information

We collect only what a parent, guardian or coach enters about a player: a first name, date of birth, gender and gear details. We do not ask children to create accounts, log in, or use the service themselves.

A child's details are visible only to the account that entered them. They are shared onto a coach's dashboard only when a parent or guardian deliberately turns on coach sharing for that child, and can be withdrawn at any time by turning it off.

If you believe a child's information has been entered without the consent of their parent or guardian, contact us and we will remove it.

How we use your information

To provide the service: matching gear to a player, tracking progress over time, sending restring and upgrade reminders, and alerting you to tournaments that match a player's age group and state.

To run your subscription, including the 14-day free trial, and to manage coach access.

To send you emails you have asked for, such as weekly updates, progress summaries, restring reminders and coach notifications.

To improve the service and understand which features are used.

We do not sell your information or your child's information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Stripe — to process subscription payments and manage billing.

Google — to send emails from our connected mailbox and, where you use it, to sync your progress records to a private spreadsheet you own.

Our hosting and database provider, Base44, which stores your account and records on our behalf.

A coach you have explicitly shared a child with, limited to that child's details and logged history.

We may disclose information where Australian law requires it, or to protect the safety of a child or another person.

Storage and security

Your records are stored in access-controlled cloud storage. Access rules are enforced on the server, so each account can only read and change its own records, and a coach can only see players a parent has shared with them.

Payments are processed over an encrypted connection by Stripe, and passwords are stored in hashed form. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password for your account.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and player records for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your records stay available for 12 months so you can export or re-subscribe, after which they are deleted.

Billing records are kept for up to 7 years, as Australian tax law requires.

Cookies and local storage

We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as whether you are using the app as a parent or a coach. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell data to ad networks.

Your choices and rights

You can view, correct or delete any player record you have entered from within the app, and turn coach sharing on or off for each child at any time.

You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the link in any email, or by contacting us. Emails about your account and billing will still be sent.

You can ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to delete your account and its records, by contacting us. We will respond within 30 days.

Complaints

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, contact us first and we will work through it with you.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change to this policy we will update the date at the top and, where the change is significant, notify you by email or in the app.
